Why it's more than just food in the bowl
In our fast-paced world, feeding our dogs often becomes a mere routine: fill the bowl, set it down, and that's it. But what if we made this very moment more conscious? What if we used it as a daily ritual of connection, love, and gratitude—for our dog and for ourselves?
What does #mindfulfeeding mean?
#mindfulfeeding is an invitation to approach the feeding process with mindfulness, heart, and intention. It's about not only nourishing the dog's body, but also strengthening the relationship, trust, and energetic connection.
Feeding mindfully means:
* take your time – even if it’s only two minutes,
* to be present – completely with the dog, completely in the moment,
* consciously perceive the ingredients,
* to make the feeding room calm and loving.
Feeding with intuition - what does that mean?
Intuition is your inner knowing, your gut feeling, your energetic sensing. Especially when feeding your dog raw or fresh food, you can allow yourself to incorporate not only your mind but also your intuition.
Maybe on some days you feel:
* that your dog needs less or more today,
* that a certain food is particularly suitable,
* that you want to add a touch of herbs or a few drops of oil
Gratitude as an energetic ingredient
Gratitude is a quiet yet powerful energy. It not only changes our perceptions, but also the atmosphere during feeding. Before preparing or passing the bowl, you may want to take a moment to:
* Gratitude for your dog and your connection
* Gratitude for the high-quality ingredients you can give him
* Gratitude for your path – that you have chosen a conscious, species-appropriate diet
* Gratitude for your own trust in yourself and your intuition
